Portrait of a Lady is not a painting. It is the smell of a room she left an hour ago the ember of her cigarette, the crushed berry stain on her sleeve, the rose that fell from her hair and now wilts on a velvet chair. We did not set out to capture her face. We set out to capture her shadow. The rose arrives first, but it is not alone. Clove, raspberry, black currant, cinnamon, red berries they crowd around it like suitors, each one adding a bruise, a blush, a secret. Then the heart opens: Turkish rose, deeper now, wrapped in patchouli and incense and the cold cream of sandalwood. And finally, the slow, luxurious surrender: more incense, more sandalwood, then musk, benzoin, amber, cedar, ambergris, vanilla a procession of sighs. This is not a portrait. This is a woman who has left her scent on everything she touched, and you are just now realizing you will never wash it off.

How to Use: Spray the perfume by holding at least to 7 inches away from your body. Target the pulse points. The pulse points on your body (where your heart rate can be felt) are the best spots to apply a scent, due to the warmth of your blood. Some such points are located behind your ear, at the bottom of your throat, on your wrist, inside your elbow, and behind your knee. The perfume has a much better chance to lock on to your skin if it is smooth and soft, rather than dry and rough.
