Our impression of Bal d’Afrique Byredo for women and men

Bal d’Afrique is the fragrance of a sunbeam dancing through a cloud of golden dust. It opens with the radiant burst of Bergamot and the honeyed, resinous glow of African Marigold, lifted by the fresh, blackcurrant-like green of Buchu. This sunlit celebration softens into a delicate, powdery heart of Violet and Cyclamen, reminiscent of petals caught in a warm breeze. The dance concludes on solid, beautiful ground, as the iconic duo of earthy, citrus-tinged Vetiver and dry, clean Cedar create a lasting impression of effortless, bohemian elegance like the warm, textured memory of a perfect day.

Perfume Notes:

  • Top Notes: Bergamot, African Marigold, Buchu or Agathosma.
  • Middle Notes: Violet, Cyclamen
  • Base Notes: Vetiver, Cedar.

Drawing inspiration from Bal d’Afrique Byredo and perfectly smell-alike.

Detailed Features

Orientation: Unisex

Formats: Spray 50mL

How to Use: Spray the perfume by holding at least 5 to 7 inches away from your body. Target the pulse points. The pulse points on your body, where your heart rate can be felt are the best spots to apply a scent, due to the warmth of your blood. Some such points are located behind your ear, at the bottom of your throat, on your wrist, inside your elbow, and behind your knee. The perfume has a much better chance to lock on to your skin if it is smooth and soft, rather than dry and rough.
